School and pre-school photography

School and pre-school photography is always informal, and doesn’t usually involve taking a child away from whatever activity they are engaged in. It certainly doesn’t involve posing them or asking them to smile.  As well as treating the children with the respect they deserve, I seek throughout the project neither to disrupt staff nor to require them to carry out any extra work.

Fundraising

I have done a number of fundraising projects at various schools and pre-schools.  These involve visiting the establishment to take a number of photographs, of individual children or groups, taking part in normal or special activities, placing the pictures on display, and inviting parents to buy copies of the photographs, with proceeds going to the establishment.

Record production

I have done a few projects to produce photographs for school record keeping. These can be used for example to document activities for Ofsted inspections.
